Underdog, All Stars and Eastern Wakenaam through to second round
Underdog, All Stars and Eastern Wakenaam have qualified for the second round of the Digicel nationwide domino competition after the completion of the first round, which was played last Sunday at Amit Ramnarine residence at Good Success, Wakenaam.
In the first set of matches Underdog and All stars were tied at the top with 77 games, while Seawall Boys came third with 68. Underdog by virtue of recording more sixes took the first place.
Top Scores: Underdog (Krishendat Hansraj 14, Asif Ahmad 14, Salim Chand 14, James Ramnarine 14). All stars (Lakeram Cobeer 15, Raj Narine 15, Amit Ramnarine 14, Shafdar Ali 13). Seawall Boys (Andrew Osborne 14, Mohamed Sherifuddin 14, Anil Ramrattan 13).
In the second set of games, All stars came out victorious with 77 games, while Eastern Wakenaam finished second with 64 and Seawall Boys third with 61.
Top Scores: All star (Amit Ramnarine 13, Shafdar Ali 13, Mohamed Kalam 12).
Eastern Wakenaam (James McAlmon 14, Mitroy Petray 13, Egbert Johnson 14).
Seawall Boys (Andrew Osborne 14, Anil Ramrattan 11). The second round will be played on Sunday at the same venue.
